Chief Coach and Peak Performance Pilot

Jeff Tan is the founder and Chief Coach of Explorer3 Life. His passion is in helping people lead excellent and fulfilling lives using the tools of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP. Prior to starting Explorer3 Life, Jeff served for 26 years with distinction as a helicopter pilot and flight instructor with the Singapore Air Force, rising to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.

Jeff is a licensed NLP trainer, having received his certification from Dr. Richard Bandler, the founder of NLP. In addition, he holds a Master of Social Science degree in Counselling from the University of South Australia, and is a professional Clinical Hypnotherapist with the Institute for Advanced Neuro-Research and Education in the USA, as well as being a certified PhotoReading Whole Mind System instructor.

As a Life Coach and Motivational speaker, Jeff specializes in the areas of personal excellence, peak performance, communication skills, sales skills and accelerated learning techniques for children and adults. He works with individuals and corporations and has successfully coached youths and adults on a personal level, and executives and leaders from the public sector to the private sector. He has worked with numerous educational institutions, government bodies, and business organization in Singapore, Malaysia, China, e.g. the Singapore Health Promotion Board, the Chinese High School, the Institute of Technical Education, Queenstown Community Club, Nuskin Enterprises, and BizShanghai Magazine.

Jeff's passions outside of his work with Explorer3 Life include downhill skiing, writing and competitive public speaking where he has won several contests in Singapore, and is a sought after guest speaker and evaluator.

Trainer

Ailing Wang is a trainer with Explorer3 Life. Her passion in life is to develop and help people achieve peak performance and to ultimately live their dreams.

A very energetic and passionate trainer, Ailing specializes in presentation and communications training, Chinese cultural training and public speaking coaching. After successfully applying NLP skills in her own life and achieving fabulous outcomes, she’s now using these skills in her training and coaching to help her clients. Ailing’s perfectly bilingual and is capable of delivering courses in both Chinese and English. She holds a Bachelor of International Chinese degree from East China Normal University and has a keen interest in promoting a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history and how it can be applied in today’s modern world.

Ailing is an extremely talented public speaker and is the current national public speaking champion having won the 2006 Toastmasters International China championships. Conducted in English, this speech contest pitted the speaking skills of the very best in China. (Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that helps people develop public speaking and leadership skills. It has over 10,500 clubs and more than 200,000 members in approximately 90 countries.)

Ailing is an extreme sports lover. She sees the challenge of bungee jumping, diving and skydiving as great opportunities to break through personal barriers and stretch herself both mentally and physically.

Alexia MICHIELS is a trainer with Explorer3 Life. Her passion is to help people achieve their highest potential and a higher level of happiness in their lives. This passion is the driving force behind her desire to be a Life Coach and professional trainer.

Alexia is Belgian and has lived in Shanghai for 2 years. She is perfectly bilingual in both French and English and is capable of delivering courses in these languages.

She is a graduate in business administration from the I.C.H.E.C. (Institut Catholique des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Brussels). In addition, Alexia proudly holds a teaching certificate (Agrégation de l’enseignement secondaire supérieur – AESS – pour les sciences commerciales) and is qualified to teach secondary students throughout the European Union.

Alexia has extensive international corporate experience in the mass media and communications fields having worked for Procter & Gamble, RTL-Bertelsmann's TV station and the World Federation of Advertisers. Her experience in the corporate world gives her an acute sense of the challenges and opportunities that executives face in the workplace. On top of this, she is a mother of four beautiful children and this gives her a very unique perspective, especially in relating to professional working women.

Alexia is a very dynamic trainer, eager to share her energy and life skills to empower clients and help them achieve peak performance!

Leah Stickley is a Trainer and Coach for   Explorer3life. Her passion in life is to guide people to higher levels of awareness of themselves, their place in this world and the work they were born to do.

After 17 years of teaching, training and coaching, Leah now specialises in cross cultural training for individuals and teams as well as coaching for choice. She strongly believes in the power of choice and only by feeling the fear and doing it anyway can you let your true spirits fly high. She has worked with people from most works of life from senior executives to rural middle school kids inspiring them to be more and achieve more.

Leah has extensive international experience having lived in France for 7 years and China since 1999, and through working in international work environments all her working life. This experience has taught her the absolute necessity for tolerance of differences, faith is good-will and acceptance of other ways. Her own experience of relocation and career change gives her inspiring insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the growing mobile workforce.

She holds an MSc in Training and Performance Management and is MBTI® accredited. She blends MBTI® with NLP in her coaching and training to achieve maximum mind- shift effect which unleashes the true spirit.

For Leah, life is work and enjoys exchanging ideas about learning, growing and spiritualism. She disciplines her life with meditation and regular exercise, and enjoys spontaneous random dinners.

C.J. was the Asia Marketing Manager of a Fortune 500 subsidiary in China, where he took care of the overall planning and implementation of all marketing-related activities throughout Asia, from branding and PR right down to lead generation and sales support.  He works extensively with 3rd parties such as Enterprise IG, Marcus Evans, Global Supply Chain Council, Weber Shandwick etc.

Prior to this IQ, C.J. was working for Ringier AG, Switzerland's largest media group, in China, where he was responsible for sales team development, and helped increase the percentage of new hires to close their first sales within 2 months by 30%, as well as increase overall sales targets by more than 50%.

At the mean time, many other prominent companies have also engaged C.J. for help, including eBay (China), L’Oreal (China), Bao Steel, Yum! (China), IMG (China), Sinotrans, American Express (Singapore), Air Liquide (China), Lenze GmbH (China), J&J Medical (China), Ufida Software, Morningside Group (China), UBS Software, Malaysia Airlines, Pan Pacific Hotel (Malaysia), Panduit Networks (China), Informatics (Singapore), Chartered Institute of Marketing (Singapore), China Telecom, NEC and many more.

c.j. has a 2nd Upper Honours in Management from the University of London, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computing from De Montfort University.  He has written a book entitled "The Complete eBusiness Guide for Non-Technical People" in 2001.  He is a frequent contributor to management business magazines in Asia, and is often invited to speak at conferences.
